Issue 3 is a continuation of Hannah's striking writing style. The stories inside of this zine are like a walk down memory lane for her. She writes about college and a close friendship she once had. Hannah describes a psychedelic night with a boy who toured with Phish and was banned from the state of Ohio! There is a brief description of sexual assault. I want to mention that just in case anyone may feel that the content could be triggering <3
tezzkatt tales #5 SOLD OUT!!
$2/28 pages/Half size
by Poppy
As I opened this issue, the first words to grace the page were "I can see this person dancing at the edge of my vision. A shadowy figure so full of life yet not fully formed yet. I feel her smile and know that soon she will be and I her"
This was a comforting read for me as I enjoyed Poppy's description of how she was making changes in her life such as going vegetarian and making peace with others as well as herself. She details her issues with obsessiveness, the decay of the city she lives in and Poppy also includes a handful of yummy recipes!

What's Her Deal? SOLD OUT!!
$1/40 pages/Half size
by Samantha
I felt that Samantha portrayed herself as "what you see is what you get" when writing about her likes and dislikes. I respect that. Her zine, What's Her Deal?, contains a happy list, a list of annoying things, her love for tv shows like Gilmore Girls and Angel, why she refuses to pluck her eyebrows, and a music list. Samantha also writes about her relationship with her sister, taking cymbalta and she shares a craft on how to make a tambourine. There is much more inside!
the wicked which 6
$1/20 pages/Half size
by Izz
Issue six of the wicked which is full of questions and feelings that churn inside of Izz. She reveals her thoughts on the concept of family and her definition of "home". Izz writes about being queer, gender identity, and the term "queer sexuality". This zine is thought provoking to say the very least. An excerpt:
"I've always been hungry for accounts of queer culture, and it's with a combination of elation and anger that I read old psychology journals that document the "peculiar" social systems of queer life. I feel like, as much as there is a definite continuity of culture, there's very little sense of queer genealogy, and that is why I keep finding myself poring over old photographs..."

What's Her Deal? #2 SOLD OUT!!
$1/44 pages/Half size
by Samantha
This was another lovely issue by Samantha and it contained a bit more text too! Samantha shares a story about her young school friend from NY who she hadn't seen in years, she meets him at school in Florida and he ends up being her new neighbor! She includes an article about a sex scandal from her former high school, why alcohol is not her friend, why she doesn't want children, her love for her nephew Jayden, her experience working at a thrift store, a list of things she would like to do before she dies and more lists of random and interesting things by a fun girl!
Tiny String #5: Josephine
$2/24 pages/ Quarter size
by Lindsie
"Each issue of Tiny String is dedicated to a single person or concept. Reading the book one way presents all of the facts that I know about this person or concept, perhaps in list form, perhaps in anecdotes I remember. Turning the book over and upside down presents a non-factual version. This made up version is perhaps based a little on what I know about them."
Non-fiction side : Lindsie describes her classmate Josephine from the 8th grade. She writes about the mischief Josephine got herself into and you can sense the distance that grew between them as the years passed on.
Fiction side: This story is set in a classroom that Josephine and Lindsie share together. Lindsie tells the story of a "name tag" airplane toss that the two girls partake in with another students name tag as their flying instrument.

Tazewell's Favorite Eccentric
issue number four
$2/30 pages/Quarter size
by Sarah
I really found myself being sucked into each personal story that Sarah wrote in this issue. Some of the content may be triggering; it deals with sexual abuse she endured as a child as well as the death of her younger brother. I found it profound the way she was able to put into words the agonizing experiences she faced. Even though she included lighter material about bargain hunting and interactions with her peers, it was written in such a way that it all flowed great together. There are pieces regarding body image as well.
