This is a documentary that was filmed over a 9 month period in Santa Clarita, CA and focuses on the scene there for teens. She opens up with some history of Valencia and interviews over 25 local teens + a theatre teacher and someone from the Active Non Violence Organization about a variety of things like lack of venues for punk shows, continuous construction & why the teens are angry.

I feel the need to describe this instrumental Cd as an electric indie explosion. You will need to dance to all the beats on this CD. Very funky in all the right ways!

Ms. Films DVD - a compilation of films from the 2005 Northwest Tour. 18 films by independent women, including documentary, animation, narrative, sci-fi, cut & paste, horror, etc. It also comes with a quarter size insert with info about each film on the DVD.

The collection of films on this DVD are each unique and entertaining. Penny Lane who directed the documentary The Abortion Diaries also has a short film on here and it is breathtaking!

This CD contains three tracks.

Stephanie sings and plays a variety of instruments like piano and guitar. Her compelling voice and folk sound make a stunning combination. Below are some lyrics from her song "Dawn".

While listening to the eight tracks that Gerald Prokop wrote for his latest musical creation called Twenty-Eight; I could really relate to his lyrics. Track 6 is a song titled “living on the weekend” and contains a sentence, “sleep when we’re tired or when it is expected”. It was one of the many phrases that sent me through a reflection of my mid-twenties, the good and the bad. In this indie compilation, you can clearly hear in Gerald’s voice and instrumental construction his influences such as John Frusciante, Beck, Bob Dylan, and Elliot Smith. It is an exciting and fulfilling CD!
